On April 10th Green Your Noise will be officially launched with live music and talks at SIGNAL’s outdoor space at Northbank (Flinders Walk) in the Melbourne CBD.
This event will feature three live sets from DRMNGNOW, Hachiku and Sunfruits, a talk featuring Indigenous artist Aretha Brown, Green Music Australia CEO Berish Bilander and project curators Acacia Coates and Winter McQuinn.
Here’s the link to the Facebook event.
This event is taking place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded and no treaty has been signed. We acknowledge the ongoing need for First Nations justice in the fight against the climate crisis and recognise the experience, knowledge and critical role Indigenous people all around the world play in preventing ecological destruction in the face of capitalism, colonialism and more.
